Meditation on Prayer

From A Jewish Prayer Book
Meditation
Prayer invites GOD to let His presence suffuse our spirits, to let His will prevail in our lives. Prayer cannot bring water to parched fields, or mend a broken bridge, or rebuild a ruined city; but prayer can water an arid soul, mend a broken heart and rebuild a weakened will. AMEN

Try This New One On For Size

For an unexpected neat sweet treat...low in sugar and calories I have found an old favorite of mine from when my kids were babies...jars and plastic containers (2) in a package of delicious strained fruit. They come in a large variety and fruit combinations and can be taken and eaten anywhere. Just have a spoon handy. I have begun to enjoy baby fruits for dessert...perfect size, sweet and low in calories (60). Great for traveling, an evening snack and at lunch time. No refrigeration needed..just open and enjoy. My favorites are applesauce and apricots, strained prunes, peaches, pears and combinations of all of the above. What a great way to enjoy fruit without the fuss. A Healthy, delicious and terrific dessert!! (Favorite brands are Organic EARTH'S BEST and GERBER's).
